Brakes have been working with Lee Harrison Transport for a number of years, they under-take collection and delivery of one of Brakes most important products, fresh milk. Day 1 for day 2 and day 1 for day 1 JIT. They will work directly with our milk supplier to over come any supply issues which may occur out of hours. Harrisons were originally delivering 5 loads for Brakes each week, but due to their exceptional service, commitment, rates and collaboration they now deliver over 25 loads each week direct to our RDC's, they also deliver milk direct to our chill NDC on behalf of our milk supplier. All the staff are extremely friendly and helpful, nothing is too much bother, our milk is both stocked and JIT and they will react to increase in vehicle requirements within minutes, they change arrival times to suit our goods-in profile without fuss and have struck up a friendly rapport with all staff at the Brakes sites they service. Information from their head office is clear, concise and on time. I can hand on heart say that Harrisons Transport are an extremely important and efficient partner of Brakes and I would recommend their services to anyone in the industry
